It’s easy to forget, but Seth Rollins and Big E were both NXT champions while appearing on Raw. It’s easy to forget because they weren’t portrayed in WWE as NXT champs; in fact, their NXT backstories weren’t part of who they were.

But Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano showed up with the NXT Championship and North American Championship, respectively, in tow. So it raises the question: What does this mean for those titles? What does it mean for all four men’s storylines in NXT, especially with TakeOver coming up in six weeks?

Granted, Gargano’s title situation resolved itself Wednesday night, but you’ve got to imagine his business in NXT isn’t done yet. It’s rare for someone to get called up and disappear when they have unfinished business.
