As highly regarded as the four NXT superstars showcased this week are, they aren’t the only NXT wrestlers trying to make an impression on the main roster right now.

It’s been two months since several NXT superstars were announced as part of a wave to bolster WWE’s ranks. Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, Heavy Machinery and EC3 have gotten some screen time, but they’ve made nowhere near the impact in two months that these four did this week.

And that is troubling because it calls into questions what will happen with them. WWE writers notoriously can’t find something for well-established wrestlers on the roster, so what does that say about nine new superstars who haven’t even been assigned a brand yet?

Given how strongly the four elite superstars were pushed this week, there’s reason to worry about the other NXT call-ups fading to the background.
