4. CM Punk Vs. John Cena (Night Of Champions 2012)

Much has been written about John Cena's battles with CM Punk at Money In The Bank and SummerSlam 2011, and rightfully so. Whilst both displayed the chemistry Cena and Punk have always shared, it's a little disappointing that few point to Night Of Champions 2012 as another example of what they could achieve together.

Falling deep into Punk's epic reign as WWE Champ, it was believable that Cena would defeat his rival at Night Of Champions and take the gold for himself. WWE chose to protect both by ending the match in a draw, but it was far from flat; Cena actually believed he'd won, only to be informed by the ref that it was a double pin.

This set the scene for more matches between the pair, and that's hardly a negative. Detractors will claim Punk was behind this bout's success, which is grossly unfair on John Cena. Against swift-movers like Punk, Cena repeatedly held up his end of the bargain.
