6. TM-61 Keep Rolling

Finally back on the NXT tag scene after Shane Thorne's lengthy injury absence, TM-61 wrestled the second match of their comeback tour last night, making quick work of local indie wrestlers John Skyler and Andrew Duckworth.

It was a fast, effective squash that painted Miller and Throne in a positive light. The heels worked the shortest of heat segments, but Shane fought back quickly, and Nick ran in for the hot tag. A corner cannonball preceded their Greetings From Thunder Valley finisher, and that was that.

Sure, it's just a squash match, but TM-61 looked great, even if their entrance pop was noticeably less enthusiastic than it was for their return (granted, the difference in building size should be accounted for). The upcoming Dusty Rhodes Classic ensures we'll soon see longer, more competitive bouts from the duo, who should be considered among the early favourites to win the whole thing.
