7 Ups & 0 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Feb 14)

Ups...

7. Dream's Date With Bate

One of NXT's biggest stars he may be, but The Velveteen Dream had a relatively quiet night. He was caught backstage by a gang of roving reporters in one of those 'Earlier Today' segments. When asked about his next opponent, No Way Jose, he promised victory, but quickly changed the subject to one Tyler Bate.

Dream spat plenty of the cryptic s***-talk he has become known for, and directly called the first ever United Kingdom Champion out. He then made his departure amidst calls for further questions, looking like a big-time star in the process.

Given the in-ring form both have been in lately, Velveteen Dream vs. Tyler Bate sounds like an awesome bout, and while the Purple Rainmaker didn't set a date last night, we'll likely get it on an upcoming episode (this writer doesn't read spoilers). Definitely one to look forward to.
