7 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Collision (Sept 23 - Results & Review)

A brutal, bloody, brilliant main event caps off an extremely impressive AEW Collision.

AEW Collision Ricky Starks Bryan Danielson
AEW

Could this have been the best episode of AEW Collision so far? Possibly.

This latest Saturday night AEW offering featured two fantastic matches, two extremely fun ones, plenty of nice progression for various talents, and even brought back the legendary Rob Van Dam to pair him up with Hook - with RVD having of course had plentiful battles with Hook's old man over the years.

On main event duties once more, we had Ricky Starks and Bryan Danielson, who this time did battle in a Texas Death Match. Elsewhere, Luchasaurus' TNT Title was on the line in a triple-threat featuring Christian Cage and Darby Allin; Julia Hart took on Kiera Hogan; the WorkHorsemen stepped up to challenge FTR for the AEW Tag Team Titles; and 'Switchblade' Jay White and Andrade El Idolo went one-on-one in a match that had many hyped as soon as it was announced.

Sure, there was one major, sadly familiar Down for this week's Collision, but this was largely a great episode from top to bottom.

With all of that in mind, then, Saturday night's alright for fighting...
