7. Mack Is Back

Willie Mack's return from a short injury stint worked tremendously to set up his and Rich Swann's World Tag Team Titles clash vs. the Good Brothers at Victory Road.

Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson were interviewed backstage by Gia Miller with regards to their attack on Mack and Anderson's Bunkhouse Brawl vs. Swann last week, where Gallows aided the 'Machine Gun' in pinning the former World Champion. As the Elite members looked to depart, they were met by Willie, who, while on crutches at first, revealed it to be a ruse, handing one of the crutches to Rich, as the duo sent the Good Brothers running.

While this would have gone down better either during or after Victory Road to build that title match for the 23 October Bound For Glory pay-per-view, it'll be a hoot on 18 September regardless. This segment acted well as a go-home moment; it felt personal. That's how you tell a compelling professional wrestling story.
