10. Just In Case You Forgot

WWE clearly believes its audience has severe ADD or suffers from extreme short-term memory loss, because they will remind you a dozen times during the course of a three-hour broadcast of something that happened in the opening segment.

Case in point, they recapped the opening match and aftermath at least 3-4 times during the show’s remaining 2.5 hours, just in case people missed it or failed to tune in at any of the other points during the program when it was discussed.

This sort of thing adds up over time, as these recaps (along with the two backstage promos from Bobby Lashley and Big E) ate up about five minutes of TV time, which could have been given to… oh anything else: a Keith Lee promo explaining his new persona, a Hurt Business reunion promo, another match involving under-utilized talent, etc.

But instead, it’s endless recaps for the forgetful. Yippie.
