7 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Sep 27)

9. Tag Wrestlers Fight Solo

Last week, Raw introduced a new tag team in the form of real-life cousins Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo. That debut must’ve been too much, because they opted for a one-on-one match.

Garza fought the Viking Raiders’ Erik in a singles match, a nothing match that saw Erik get distracted by Carrillo on the apron (shocker). Garza nailed a superkick and Wing Clipper to pick up the win, and that was that.

But yeah, we have a new tag team and an established one. Let’s have one member of each team wrestle for no reason rather than have a tag team match. And let’s make the match bad. Sounds like a plan.
