7 Ups & 2 Downs For AEW Collision (June 8 - Results & Review)

2. Continued Collision Momentum For Red Death

Another predictable, short match, but another W for Daniel Garcia this week.

For Garcia, his win over Progress favourite - and Simon Miller rival - Tate Mayfairs comes on the heels of a tag team win over The WorkHorsemen, and a six-man win over Lance Archer and The Righteous on the past couple of Collisions.

While it's good to see Garcia continue to gain momentum - this his tenth Collision win of the year from 12 Collision matches - that momentum does have to eventually go somewhere. One has to imagine that Katsuyori Shibata and Red Death will be eyeing a Tag Team Title shot at some point in the future, but for now this win was fine in keeping things chugging along for Garcia, as he put Mayfairs away with the Red Cross.

Also, the all-black trunks and boots look for Garcia - a tribute to Shibata - was definitely pretty badass.
