Mark Briscoe is forever great in whatever he's asked to do. Whether it's a dominant victory, a valiant defeat, a backstage promo, or in singles or tag team action, Chicken just always makes for phenomenal pro wrestling television.
This week, Buddy Matthews' scheduled Collision-opening match was interrupted before it could ever get going, with Mark Briscoe mauling Matthews. Not just did Briscoe get the better of Buddy, but he also managed to fend off the advances of the Australian's House of Black pals Malakai Black and Brody King.
Some have rightfully questioned how Mark Briscoe has been used in AEW these past few months - the proverbial jobber-to-the-stars - but the Sandy Fork brawler looked like a complete and utter badass here, holding his own against the oft-dominant House of Black and even trying to singe Buddy Matthews' face off with a pyro blast.
More of this presentation for Briscoe, please.
