As mentioned in the introduction to this piece, this Collision was just so generic. Again, not much was actually bad, but this episode felt like it was going through the motions just a little too much.
The wrestling on show was solid-to-good, but would you have missed out if you'd skipped this Collision? Not in the slightest.
This show was one where, if you're Tony Khan, you'd probably like to have the ability to simply take a week off from Collision, with the presence of AEW Revolution not only taking all of the attention right now, but also meaning you can't do anything too interesting or with too many implications on this Saturday offering.
Clearly, Khan's hands are tied when in such a position, but that nevertheless makes for a show that while not awful, was akin to the sort of dull Rampage offerings which continue to make AEW's Friday show such a low priority for even the biggest of AEW fans.
