7 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dark (Feb 2)

1. Tay Conti vs. Tesha Price

Tay Conti

Tay Conti's grand improvement drive continued with a win over Tesha Price on Dark.

We say this so often that it's fast becoming cliché, but it's true: the Brazilian looks better every single time she steps between the ropes. Joined by Anna Jay and -1 at ringside, Conti entered another smooth performance defying her experience level, outdoing Price with nice counters and evasions, strikes, Judo throws, and submissions, eventually putting her away with the Tay-KO.

Tay added a rope-hanging kneebar to here repertoire here, going after the limb like she was Minoru Suzuki targeting an arm. The ripcord Judo throws looked excellent, too, and her high knees always get good connections. Her development continues to be a weekly highlight.
