7 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dark (Feb 2)

5. SoCal Uncensored vs. Chaos Project

Frankie Kazarian Serpentico
AEW

Those who tune into Dark for the expected weekly competitive tag match had their itch scratched by SoCal Uncensored and Chaos Theory last night, as they wrestled each other in the main event.

This was a well-matched bout between two mid-level teams in AEW. Serpentico looked particularly good throughout, especially during a nice opening stretch with Frankie Kazarian. The match unravelled later on with near-falls for both sides, leading to SCU attempting a Best Meltzer Ever that was interrupted by Luther. This was only delaying the inevitable, though. Serp was eventually finished off via Celebrity Rehab.

Kazarian and Daniels have built a solid winning streak since promising to split up after their next tag loss. Their run will likely continue until AEW finds a big moment for the big L, perhaps as a heroic effort in a failed Tag Team Title match.
