7 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dark (Feb 2)

4. Rey Fenix vs. KC Navarro

Rey Fenix
AEW

Rey Fenix was a total pr*ck against KC Navarro here.

Though he helped the enhancement talent to his feet and checked on him after the bout, Fenix was nasty between the ropes. Whether snapping his arm against the ropes, slapping and grinning at the fallen man on the mat, or willingly breaking his own submission attempt to continue inflicting punishment, he was in appropriate form for a man set to team with PAC and Jon Moxley.

The win came via Frog Splash, after Navarro had entered a good account of himself in defeat.

Taz was a riot here, too, wishing zucchini-sized hives on Justin Roberts' tongue to prevent the ring announcer from rolling his R's during Fenix's entry announcement. Again, AEW Dark is a podcast.
