7. Chopping Block

The Learning Tree is down two members, with Brian Myers having cut Manny Lemons and Sam Beale from the group.

This went down in a short backstage skit, with constant references to trash bags being sent to houses, confetti falling in the style of Lemons' entrance gear, and Beale requesting a signed 8x10 from Myers, which was instead by VSK.

It was nice to see a Learning Tree skit steer away from being serious in favour of a more hilarious route. The group simply doesn't work when treated seriously, hence why Beale's genuine heartbreak at being left in the gutter worked as amazingly as it did. It was as if he'd seen Myers and VSK coming through the airport together a la Ross and Julie in Friends' second season opening.

Here's hoping this isn't the end of Lemons and Beale's time in IMPACT, though. They've made for valuable assets thus far, particularly in the latter's case. It'd be a shame to see them shoved aside.
