7 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling Homecoming 2019

1. A Hypocrite Champion

Taya Valkyrie has claimed time and time again that Tessa Blanchard was unable to retain the Knockouts Championship without using some sort of underhanded tactic to do so. Well Taya, that's exactly what you've done here.

The bout's special guest referee Gail Kim was irritated by the defending champion, leading her to deliver an Eat Defeat. Valkyrie was able to win the title with her own finisher, but she still had assistance from someone who wasn't a legal competitor in the match. It makes her look like a complete hypocrite for all she's said to Tessa for the past number of weeks.

You could say that it doesn't count, seeing as Tessa had got in the face of Kim on a number of occasions. That doesn't change anything though - Taya won the championship with underhanded tactics. Laying down the hard truth for all the Taya Valkyrie fans out there.
