7 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 20)

1. A Load Of Nothing

Heath vs. Rhino vs. Hernandez vs. Cousin Jake vs. Alisha Edwards. On paper, it was a shambles, but in reality? It was worse than anyone could have imagined.

For starters, Hernandez entered the money on a chain around his neck from his arm wrestling escapades. The same money that was stolen by Fallah Bahh. We saw Bahh later on in the show, still clutching at the wad of cash, so how has 'Supermex' suddenly got the money back?

Additionally, the way everyone treated Alisha throughout the match isn't something that should be happening in 2020. Having her male counterparts treat her like a frail elderly lady simply because she's of the opposite gender is utter nonsense. Impact is a promotion that promotes gender diversity - they've had a woman as World Champion, and might have a woman as X Division Champion after Saturday night. This didn't fit.

The ending of the match, with Rhino accidentally giving Alisha the Gore instead of Hernandez, was fine, even if Hernandez did rollup 'The War Machine' from behind. It would've been better had Heath been entering the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match first, but given the circumstances surrounding he and Rhino for the bout, we can let it slide.

The fact that only the match's conclusion was a positive simply isn't enough.
