7 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Sep 1)

Downs...

2. Great Moment, Wrong Timing

The return of Tenille Dashwood to Impact Wrestling was great. There's no denying that. However, the timing could have been better had it waited an extra bit longer.

Dashwood interrupted Deonna Purrazzo's black tie affair celebration of her second victory over Jordynne Grace, claiming to be coming for 'The Virtuosa's' championship, despite the fact Deonna already has a number one contender in the form of Kylie Rae. Just as 'Thicc Mama Pump' was getting in the face of the returning Aussie, the cast of Wrestle House mysteriously appeared in the ring, giving 'Smiley Kylie' the opportunity to send both Deonna and Kimber Lee packing, while Tenille and Jordynne simply went backstage together.

Although it's not been confirmed yet, Deonna's defence against Kylie will likely be going down at Bound For Glory on 24 October, so Tenille's return should have waited until after that match at least. Had she returned and not immediately put her name in the running for the Knockouts Championship, then this would have been an Up.

An extra minor Down here for the apparent conclusion of Wrestle House, seeing as it has often provided some enjoyable moments since it began.
