7 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE Elimination Chamber 2023

1. Where Do You Go From Here?

"Where do you go from here?" was also applicable to the Judgment Day vs. Edge and Beth Phoenix situation on Saturday night. It's pretty weird that WWE decided to have Edge pin Finn Bálor, 'cause now creative has nowhere to go with that rivalry, and it's not like either guy has anything else in the pipeline for 'Mania.

Also, Rhea Ripley. Remember her? The Royal Rumble winner was a secondary concern at Chamber, and even struggled to match up against a legend like Beth. Surely the right result was having Rhea rip through Phoenix on her way to challenging Charlotte Flair in April?

The match was far from bad, but it was another puzzling finish that held it back. There was an awkward ref moment too - Ripley clocked Edge with some brass knuckles, but Beth was late for the save. Edge had to halfheartedly kick out, and the ref stopped his count.

The whole segment was a slight miss.
