7 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE Raw (4 November - Results & Review)
1. OG Bloodline Needs A Unifier
The Crown Jewel Ups and Downs column laid out how Roman Reigns is the only person who can bring the fractured original Bloodline back together.
Monday night, fans saw exactly how divided the former stable actually is, with Crown Jewel only deepening those fissures. Sami Zayn has Jey Uso’s back. Jey loves Sami like a brother and also has Jimmy Uso’s back, but he distrusts Roman. Jimmy is devoted to Roman, trusts Jey but wants nothing to do with Sami.
And then there’s Roman, the egomaniacal, gaslighting Tribal Chief of yore.
Sami laid it out on Raw, pointing to Jimmy’s history of turning on Bloodline members and declaring that he doesn’t need to be part of this saga, having his loyalty questioned and possibly being put on trial again. But he didn’t outright refuse when Jey asked him to show up on SmackDown for the four men to hash it all out. Jey also went hard by calling his buddy Sami Uso, showing how deep his respect and love goes.
Still, there are a lot of wounds to be mended, and it doesn’t seem like any of the three on Raw Monday night are capable of repairing things, leaving it up to Reigns to suck it up and play unifier, a role he’s never embraced before. It might not happen all at once, but if WWE is doing this correctly, fans should see that next story beat play out on Friday.
