6. Austin Theory’s Slow Burn Turn

Being honest, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller aren't long for this world as a tag-team. This fan had hoped to see Theory spin out of the duo as a babyface long term, so he can't credibly complain that there are some miscommunication issues bubbling away between the lads now. This has to happen so Austin can move into a new role.

DIY might benefit from that.

Let's be frank about something else: Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano badly need something to hang their hats on. They've been dull lately, and the team sorely need a spark to help make them relevant on the roster again. Bagging the tag straps from a heel tandem ready to split might work out well for them.

The actual match pitting Theory vs. Ciampa was decent, but it's the issues in-house between A-Town Down Under that scored this segment an 'Up' overall. Grayson looks at Austin like a disappointed jock brother, and Theory is getting over it in a hurry.

Stay tuned.
