7 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 18)

1. How…Polite?

Cesaro Seth Rollins

"If WWE could only resist the urge to put those little splashes of ill-needed comedy in, then maybe they'd be able to properly put together a must-see card for Hell In A Cell". That was something yours truly said in last week's article when discussing Cesaro's comeback and beatdown of a trouser-less Seth Rollins.

The point still stands.

Cesaro and Rollins are supposed to be mortal enemies, and the former has vowed full-blown revenge on the former for attacking him a while back. So, it didn't make sense that both (especially Cesaro) would be so laid back during this week's confab in the promo area with Kayla Braxton.

The gentle shove Cesaro gave Seth, which sent the heel arse over tit, was weak and comedic too. Sprinkling in unwanted laughs has been a problem with WWE booking for ages, and it's that inconsistency with the tone of feuds that hurts them. This one is no different.
