7 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Sept 25)

6. The Chairwoman

2020 has been the year Bayley found her calling.

It's amazing to think that her happy, hugging babyface gimmick took her so far when it was as one-dimensional as it was. By comparison, this cold-hearted heel character is a revelation that's really showing off her skills. The reigning SmackDown Women's Champ is capable of cutting some seriously good promos.

Her latest was another winner. The sinister smile that crept across Bayley's face when she threatened to smack pay-per-view opponent Nikki Cross around with a steel chair like she did to Sasha Banks was neat. So was the tried-and-tested 'if I'll do that to my friend, then what do you think I'll do to you' thing.

WWE should keep that chair in Bayley's hands. It's even better that it has a dent in it from prior attacks on Sasha - that sells the champ's coldness further and can be used against her when Banks eventually gets some revenge.
