7 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Sept 4)

6. Sheamus Telling The Truth

Pro wrestling heels are usually unsavoury, lying sorts who delude themselves into thinking their bullsh*t is correct. Sometimes though, they're bang on the money with their smarty-pants banter. On SmackDown, Sheamus was absolutely right when he criticised Big E's approach.

Minutes before he was squashed against a car's windshield like a bug, E was all smiles and happiness about preparing a birthday cake for Xavier Woods. He danced off into the parking lot to greet his New Day pal, then got smacked around by Sheamus for daring to cross his path.

Why was E so concerned with cake when he had a Fatal-4-Way to prepare for? That's what Big Bully Busick himself wanted to know, and he was right. SmackDown represented E's biggest chance to make a splash as a singles star, but he was too busy joking around.

Sheamus' disgust was entirely justified.
