7 Ups & 3 Downs For AEW Collision (16 September)

2. Basic Production Issues

It's bad enough when AEW can't get its audio mix correct - as shown by the largely-muted recap of Swerve Strickland's promo from Rampage - but the Keith Lee stuff here was absolutely embarrassing.

Of course, this isn't Limitless or Lexy Nair's fault. Regardless, this is something that gives the anti-AEW sorts plenty of fuel to mock the promotion with.

Either we arrived with Lee and Nair a few seconds too early if this was live, or somebody didn't trim the clip appropriately in the editing suite if this was pre-taped. The end result, though, was just so amateur.

Here, post-FTR vs. Iron Savages, we cut to Big Keith and Lexy as someone proclaimed "Collision Take 22" and counted the pair down from five; all as the two stood awkwardly in silence.

Yes, this was poked fun at later on in the show, and it's good that AEW doesn't take itself too seriously in that regard, but that doesn't take away from how jaw-droppingly incompetent this latest production snafu was.
