7 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dark (Jan 26)

6. Beef For The Beef God

The Butcher
AEW

Please appreciate this picture of the beef god Andy 'The Butcher' Williams. You're welcome.

The Butcher and The Blade looked a lot better this week than last, when they needed The Bunny's referee distraction to overcome overmatched foes. Here, Allie hopped the apron early, making a scene only so that Blade could choke Navarro with his jacket. The action was nasty, ugly, and brutish from thereon, conveyed through Butcher's spine-snapping backbreaker and Blade pressing his knee through Navarro's face in the corner. M'Badu then ran through a brief period of offense before Butcher and Blade put the big man down with their powerbomb/neckbreaker combination, their work done.

This is Butcher and Blade's best presentation. They're so, so good at just running through fools, as they did right here.
