7 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite: Anniversary Edition (Oct 14)

1. Game Over

Miro Kip Sabian
AEW

Gamer Miro isn't working as a character. At all.

Last night saw Trent fling himself into Kip Sabian's arcade machine while wrestling FTR, breaking it into pieces. Sabian then sent Penelope Ford to the back to get Miro, who came out after the Tag Team Title match, beating Trent and Chuck Taylor down. 'Superbad' got on the microphone and said Best Friends had gone too far by destroyed his most prized possession ("Alan," who meant everything to him), while Miro spat furiously in Bulgarian, then yelled, "GOOD Friends, you break my sh*t!" It's "game over" for those guys.

Miro destroying Sabian and striking out on his own remains the likeliest destination, though the journey is undermining "the Brute of a Bulgarian," as Jim Ross called him. He feels silly and unimportant. Getting all fired up over a broken arcade machine doesn't do him any favours, and it's time for this storyline to take a turn for the serious, ditching the shtick entirely.
