7 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (September 27 - Results & Review)

3. Julia Hart Vs Willow Nightingale

Julia Hart Willow Nightingale
AEW

Julia Hart is having all her best matches at exactly the right time.

The 21-year-old has really come into her own lately, which is ideal because at WrestleDream she'll compete in the biggest bout of her carerr against TBS Champion Kris Statlander.

Nightingale was blinded by Hart last week, and carefully balanced her anger over that with the positive disposition she tries to uphold in spite of the factors that work against her. Hart took advantage of the former though, repeatedly working Nightingale's blindside before using a Brody King distraction that put her firmly in control.

The water still seemed too deep for Hart due to the experience differential between the pair, but Nightingale cost herself control when she took a split second to bark back at the House Of Black monster on the floor. Hart took the breather and took the match, nailing an excellent moonsault press to add another killshot to her arsenal. She's proven herself ready to go between the ropes, and more than willing to use the extra help to get the job done.

A title change seems unlikely, but AEW deserve credit for one of the better builds for that belt in some time.
