7 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's NXT (23 Jan)
4. The Broserweights, Again
You're probably sick of hearing this by now, but... well, this tag team is just the best thing WWE have going at the minute. The chemistry, the matches, the co-ordinated gear, the sheer improbability of the division's most intense man becoming best mates with a guy who is permanently high; I said this last week but whoever's responsible for this deserves to get home to find another storey on their house.
While they're obvious contenders to win the Dusty Cup, there's enough in this to run on until WrestleMania and beyond. As a team they need to be kept together long enough to win the tag team titles, and then afterward there's an amazing singles rivalry to be informed by at all. For two men who ended 2019 relatively directionless in the company and performing well within their ability, this has proven to be the perfect solution.
Protect this life-affirming union at all costs, bro.
