There are countless ways to skin a cat, but CM Punk serving as the instant quick fix for Backstage's ratings woes was only going to be as good as their delivery of the news.
More on how the 'Voice Of The Voiceless' managed during his first night on set still to come, but congratulations to the company and (probably, mostly) Fox for the smart promotion and arrangement of his return.
It wasn't dragged out until the last five minutes of the show, nor was it hidden where viewers tuning in at the top of the hour wouldn't know when to find it. WWE would be wise to adopt this approach on all major shows - the element of "surprise" is only good when it's a pleasant one.
