7 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Raw (17 June - Results & Review)

1. Seth Rollins Returns

Seth's comeback was a rather popular way to kick off this week's episode of Raw.

He's already back in the World Title chat courtesy of Damian Priest. Cool. The champ giving Rollins a title shot makes more sense when one scratches beneath the surface: Priest's confidence is soaring right now after overcoming Drew McIntyre (and an entire tartan army) on a bad wheel over in Scotland.

Plus, Triple H didn't have much room to manoeuvre before reaching Money In The Bank anyway. That PLE is mere weeks away, so Damian's next hurdle needed to be set up on Monday at the latest. Seth shooting right back to the head of the queue will put more fuel on the respective fires of Drew and Punk as well.

Priest vs. Seth is a fine-enough clash for MITB. As a former champ and returning hero, Rollins is a believable threat. Plus, as other heel champions have found out, Damian beginning to believe his own hype could be costly. WWE popped the live crowd early by letting them sing along to Seth's tune, and they didn't waste time getting to the title match setup after that.
