The Women’s Tag Team Championship match easily was the weakest link on the Bash in Berlin card last month, so Monday night’s rematch didn’t exactly have a high bar to clear.

Still, the match once again felt like it was a paint-by-numbers performance, moving from one segment or series of moves to another. It almost looked like things were going to completely fall off the rails seconds into the match when Bianca Belair and Alba Fyre had a pretty noticeable miscommunication in the middle of the ring, leading to them standing there for what seemed like an eternity, but they managed to get back on track.

Jade Cargill selling a leg “injury” after having the limb worked over for all of 20 seconds was almost laughable. If you’re going to ask a She-Hulk like Jade to have to sell, have the heels really work her over with a Dragon Screw and series of chop blocks, not a couple of kicks at the knee.

Call this an improvement from last Saturday, but still below what one should expect from the largest wrestling company in the world with the best talent signed and a “world-class” Performance Center.
