7 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Raw (Results & Review - 16 Oct)

3. Another Ultra-Physical Fight

GUNTHER Bronson Reed

AEW fans will recall a hard-hitting scorcher between Miro and Powerhouse Hobbs back at All Out in Chicago. If that's your style, then check out GUNTHER vs. Bronson Reed from this week's Raw for more big boys slapping meat and throwing one another around like they're playing WWE All Stars.

Being transparent for a sec, more rugged matches working a throwback style will always get an 'Up' from this writer when done well. It certainly was here; GUNTHER's IC Title reign continues, and he's setting an example for his Imperium subordinates by taking on all comers nose-to-nose without much hesitation.

Big Bronson got to show out a little more than usual in a featured spot too, and that shouldn't be sniffed at. This was one of those win-win showcases that helped the challenger without going overboard and booking a shock title change for the sake of it.
