Downs...

3. Heel? Babyface? Tiffy Tweener?

It kinda sucks to admit this, but Tiffany Stratton’s celebratory promo after winning the Women’s Title was a little all over the place. Her actual delivery was fine, but WWE must thrash out an alignment for Tiffy and stick to it. If she’s going to be a tweener, then she needs to work that out and have better material. Here, Stratton went the heel 101 route and came across more as a straight up bitch, and that really clashes with the reactions she’s been getting from crowds.

Creative shouldn’t swim against the tide Vince McMahon style with this.

Meh, maybe they'll get it right next time. Something else is lurking around the next corner and has this writer worried though; it'll be interesting to see how audiences react to Bayley now she’s Tiffany’s first challenger. Fans in arenas might reopen old wounds by booing Bayley in favour of someone else like they did many moons ago. Don't forget, that led to Bayley's heel turn back in 2019.

She doesn't want to relive the nightmare of standing mid-ring and floundering just because things aren't going to plan, but there's a real chance of that happening. WWE crowds have been swept up in Tiffy fever, so it's certainly brave to think Bayley will change that after the second half of 2024 she had.

If Stratton is staying heel, cool. If not, then she'll need to be a little less full on heel on the mic than she was this past Friday. This sort of thing could be a bit awkward in front of different fans.
