4. All Four Women Bring It

Tiffany Stratton's occasionally decent/occasionally confusing celebration promo did feed into an unexpected delight set up by man with the plan Nick Aldis. Yes, it's always amusing that wrestling authority figures seemingly march headfirst into every show without a concrete lineup of matches to fill time like it's their first day on the job, but that's just something viewers have learned to roll with over the years.

Aldis announced Bayley vs. Nia Jax vs. Naomi vs. Bianca Belair would be happening "right now", and sprinkled on that the winner would be getting a title shot vs. Stratton. Later in the show, it was revealed that Stratton vs. Bayley will be happening on next week's episode. All going well, that can main event the program so they get bags of time. Not that short bouts will be a worry for now!

Again, Bayley winning does throw up questions about whether or not some boos are headed her way now Tiffany is a fresh star people like, but that’s the future. In the present, go out of your way to check this four-way out. All involved put on a show without throwing in too many cheap tricks like weapon shots or loads of run-ins, and there was a nice dynamic between Naomi and Belair.

Candice LeRae, who did run in, grabbed Bianca’s braid, which led to Belair accidentally whipping her tag partner. That spot led into Naomi eating the pin and the loss. There’s way more to come on that for sure. It was pleasing to see WWE use this match as an excuse to add some tension between the new Women's Tag-Team Champs.

Really good showing from all four.
