7 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (July 9)

2. How Rough The Champs Were

Sorry to say, but the bloom is off the rose when it comes to Tamina and Natalya as Women's Tag-Team Champions. WWE had zero follow-up in mind for them after bagging the belts at WrestleMania 37 (brief scuffles with Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke on Raw were lifeless), and now they're jobbing in non-title bouts.

Worse, the veteran pair aren't even having decent matches.

Tamina, in particular, had a rough night on SmackDown. She botched several spots during the match with Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox; WWE's official photo gallery for the event even captured one of those flubs. It's pictured above - Tam almost missed that kick completely.

WWE management surely won't put up with much more of this. They're likely bored of the Nattie and Tamina experiment anyway, and might even shove the belts onto Shotzi and Nox to try something different now that live crowds are returning.
