7 Ups & 4 Downs For AEW Collision (Nov 25 - Results & Review)

4. Standard Brutality For The House Of Black

AEW Collision Buddy Matthews

Few wrestlers in the world have as crisp an offense as the House of Black's Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews. Black's kicks always look lethal, and the overall electric snap Matthews has to everything he does is amazing to see.

Here on AEW Collision, it was very much a case of standard brutality from this House of Black duo as they took on Komander and Gravity. The result was never in doubt, and the two luchadors did get a chance to show off their ever-impressive athleticism... before Matthews scored the win after hitting a curb stomp on Komander.

This was fine in serving as a nice, vicious, rebound victory for House of Black after coming up short in their shot at the AEW Tag Team Titles at Full Gear last weekend, but that was about it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Also, Komander and Gravity, whilst clearly talented, feel extremely generic right now; two steady hands AEW throws out when they need a couple of bodies to take a beating and have a few moments of high-risk offense.
