7 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dark (Oct 22)

4. Oh Hey, Taz

Taz AEW
AEW

Former ECW World Champion Taz joined Excalibur in the AEW announce booth for this week's Dark and did a good job, hopefully opening the door for future opportunities within the promotion.

Taz works in a different gear to older commentators like Tony Schiavone and Jim Ross. Those guys are great at their jobs, of course, but Taz brings more energy to the table. He's not necessarily better or worse, but different, and bringing him in as a regular Dark contributor would help forge the show's identity.

Perhaps we'll find out if this was an audition or a one-off before long.
