Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison locked into a different gear here. They are typically used as textbook Dark squash fodder so it was interesting to see them booked on the opposite side, scoring the victory over David Ali and Cezar Bononi, suggesting something bigger might be in their future.

Basic, short, and generic, this was similar to Angelico vs. Shawn Dean in how vanilla it was. Bononi once again failed to stand out, making his second AEW appearance after being let go by WWE in April.
