7 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (1 June)

3. A Feud That Lacks Substance

Britt Baker Ruby Soho Jamie Hayter
AEW

OK, why is Ruby Soho still feuding with Britt Baker after Double Or Nothing? They were only really at each other's throats because of the Owen Hart Cup, which Britt won, but...now Ruby wants to exact revenge for losing a tournament? That's random motivation for a babyface.

Ruby and Toni Storm vs. Baker and Jamie Hayter was a decent-enough tag match on Dynamite, but something just felt lacklustre about it too. Ruby going after Britt again doesn't cut it, and neither does Baker carrying around a championship belt that she can't even defend.

Then, there's Toni.

Storm has done next-to-nothing of note since joining AEW. She's one of many in the women's division who are toiling right now, and it sucks to see. Generally, everyone in this thing seems pretty damn directionless heading into the summer.
