2. Athena’s Height Is The Hook?!

Athena laid out her intentions to challenge Jade Cargill for the TBS Title during a promo with Tony Schiavone. That prompted The Baddies to come out, and Jade poked fun at the former NXT star's height during the eventual staredown that got split up by security.

Urgh, the height thing.

Listen, it's fine that Jade is a bullying, elitist bitch, but Athena is the same size as Red Velvet and Cargill is happy to have her on the team. Jade has also wrestled countless opponents smaller than her, because she's taller than most, so this came out of absolutely nowhere and didn't fit.

Here's hoping AEW moves away from this side of the story. Athena grabbing some wins before getting to challenge for a belt wouldn't have hurt either - AEW likes to talk about the importance of championship rankings, but that's non-existent here.
