7 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (22 Mar - Review)

Ups…

7. The Bucks, Stopped Here

A break in traditional Dynamite formatting is always welcome on a show that typically stays to a tried and true layout, and opening the show with the shocking news of a backstage attack on The Young Bucks was a perfect way to express the transgression.

The Elite's tentative reunion last week was destined to increase the drama, but nobody called something this substantial cropping up so soon.

Matt and Nick going off to the hospital raised questions of just who and what put them in such a state, but Hangman Page going with them answered others about where new loyalties are starting to lie. With his dream match later on in the night, Kenny Omega wasn't able to join them, and looked all the more rattled by the turn of events.

Exactly as it should, the intriguing mystery only deepened as the night wore on, too.
