7 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Mar 24)

Downs...

4. Stop It, Lads

Team Taz
AEW

There were more Team Taz dissent teases last night, as Taz stressed that there were no problems with the group and that Brian Cage had apologised to them as a whole, as well as Ricky Starks individually, for breaking rank and showing respect to Sting last week. Cage wore a confused facial expression while this was going on. Clearly, Taz wasn't being entirely truthful.

Brian dropped a "who betta?" when Taz asked if he was good, papering over the cracks.

This storyline is more worrying than satisfying. To what purpose are we teasing a potential Team Taz split? They're a great unit, one of the best in the company, and have too much uncovered ground left to conquer before thinking of a program like this, which, unfortunately, reeks of WWE-style storytelling.

Here's hoping the course correction is swift.
