7 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Mar 24)
Ups...
7. Eddie & Jon Are Great
There were a bunch of good backstage promos on last night's Dynamite, with Jade Cargill cutting a ripper on Red Velvet to set up a future match between the two. Still, Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley brought the best one to the table.
Their character dynamic is incredible. Striking an infectious balance between camaraderie and WE ARE GOING TO KILL YOU SCUMBAGS, they have the kind of chemistry that can't be scripted in a writer's room. When they joke about tacky t-shirts, they bring a smile to your face, and when Eddie says "where we come from, you take one of us out... we put you in the morgue," you feel genuinely fearful for their targets. Very few wrestling double-acts have that power, that duality.
The Good Brothers are in Kingston and Moxley's crosshairs after dealing Eddie a "broken something" last week, and Mox has no patience for any of the Bullet Club melodrama. Whenever it happens, the final showdown should be a hoot.
