7 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite: St. Patrick's Day Slam (Mar 17)
4. Jade's Next Step
Jade Cargill's elevation continued on Dynamite, as she squashed Dani Jordyn in a one-sided shellacking that allowed the future star to show off a little more of what she can do in the ring.
Jordyn, who works a Mean Girls gimmick on Dark, was a solid foil here. She got nothing in after Jade flattened her with a nasty pump kick. A release German suplex and Cargill's version of the Glam Slam were all it took after that, with Jade pausing between each move to let you know she's in charge.
Though clearly still a work in progress, the early signs are encouraging for Cargill. This was her second professional wrestling match, yet her offense already looks stiff, snappy, and impactful. Her physical charisma has always been off the charts and on her current trajectory, she's destined to become a big asset.
Occasional Dynamite matches built-up as special attractions would be the right way to progress with her, rather than blunting shine through overexposure in the Dark wringer.
