7 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (28 Oct)

1. This Is How He Returns?

Eric Young Heath
IMPACT Wrestling

An unfortunate case this, as the Violent By Design vs. Heath and Rhino story has been solid as of late, but here, it was a downer.

Playing out as Joe Doering vs. Heath, the match was barely passable. Doering used his big Crossbody spot early on, and so was left with very little of note for the remainder of the match, though he would attempt it a second time - thus proving it's the only notable move he possesses.

When it broke down, it became clear that this should have culminated at Bound For Glory, contrary to your writer's original beliefs. Deaner tripped up Heath, leading to Rhino and him brawling into the ring. It was called off, which was enough to warrant a Down.

Then, Eric Young got in the ring, got physical, and no one cared. They'd seemingly forgotten he's been injured this whole time. He looked in decent shape, at least, but this isn't how his return should have gone down.

Considering this match would have been taped on either Sunday or Monday, it means Young would have been cleared by Bound For Glory. His in-ring return should have gone down there, not as a random beatdown. For this to continue and still be fresh will be impressive to pull off.
