7 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (6 May)

3. Spooky Stuff

Your writer was gleeful at IMPACT’s apparent new booking direction for Brian Myers. He had defeated Matt Cardona at the Rebellion pay-per-view, doing so in convincing fashion with two Roster Cuts. Finally, your writer thought, they were doing something of note with Myers.

Haha, nope.

Fresh off his loss to Cardona last week in their pointless Rebellion rematch, ‘The Most Professional Wrestler’ was flipping tables and chairs backstage, so he must be fuming. An attempted Gia Miller interview was thwarted when Decay arrived on the scene. Rosemary said some BS about how Myers flipping a table was a metaphor for him letting his ego control him, and then Black Taurus laid out Myers very simply.

An Under Siege bout between Myers and Taurus has since been scheduled. You just know the Decay man is going to win it. Every time IMPACT do something right with Myers, it’s often followed with about five booking steps in the wrong direction. Alongside EC3, he’s the only Black Wednesday act whose flopped in IMPACT. The problem is that it’s extremely easy to fix.
