7 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Mar 24)

With no audience present in the Undead Realm, Havok literally murdered Father James Mitchell.

Right now, Impact Wrestling is the biggest wrestling promotion in North America that still has an audience in attendance. Yes, this is because they tape their episodes in advance, but clearly they're ahead of the game, given the current circumstances.

With that in mind though, the best part of the show actually came from a segment that wasn't in front of a crowd, with a return to the Undead Realm seeing Havok and Su Yung having a delightful brawl that ended with Havok straight-up murdering Father James Mitchell with a dagger. This was literal madness from start to finish, both in terms of the overall story arc for the past two years and this segment alone, however, that's what you sometimes need to see from wrestling.

Elsewhere on the episode, Willie Mack became the number one contender for Ace Austin's X Division Championship after winning an amazing eight-man Scramble Match, Tessa Blanchard and Eddie Edwards collided with Taya Valkyrie and Michael Elgin in a terrific tag team bout, Suicide returned to fight for the right of Total Nonstop Action, and Sami Callihan hacked the broadcast to deliver a fiery message. Top stuff for the most part in this show.

A strong showing from Impact this week, except for a few exceptions. Let's get to it...
