7 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 12)

2. Establish Your Talent

It seems to be that every single week, Madison Rayne proclaims herself to be the leader of the knockouts locker room. Nothing wrong with that. If 'The Queen Bee' believes that she's in charge of Impact's female dressing room just because she's been there the longest, then that's alright.

However, when she's defeating rising talents such as Alexia Nicole, then that creates a bit of a problem. No-one's going to care if these people are being defeated because we don't know anything about them, which means fans simply won't invest in them.

You could argue that it's not that bad having the more established names defeating the rising talents now and again, but we literally know nothing about Alexia. Essentially, she gets brought in occasionally to lose the majority of her matches. Wouldn't it be better if we got to know more about her?

The match itself was alright, with Rayne coming out victorious via the Cross Rayne, but seriously, spend time building up newer talents instead of relying on the same old faces each and every time. Considering some of the guys who come in on a one-off are extremely talented (cc: Brent Banks), it would be nice to see them properly utilised instead of being used to fill out the card.
